i. The Great Arc Exhibition
The Mother Exhibition will be housed in London’s premier Arts District.
The satellite exhibition will open at the end of June and will travel through upto 4 cities that will be selected in due course from the list provided below.

The exhibition designed by the National institute of Design, Ahmedabad will have a number of components including the historical perspective of the Great Arc and will trace the progress in GIS mapping techniques in present day India. An Earth Science interactive lab and a number of audio visual and touch screen display points will create a state of the art exhibition which is bound to attract a large number of practitioners as well as general public.
Frontage of most venues will have an impressive marquee or pandal created by the famed artisans of West Bengal.
The traditional lighting designers of Chandernagar will create light installations, which will depict key visuals of the Great Arc. This in itself would be news worthy and would ensure large crowds who would congregate to view the exhibition.
ii. International Seminars and Book release
The prestigious Cambridge Conference will host a dinner reception at the venue of the Great Arc Exhibition and invite the Indian High Commissioner and Minister HRD, to deliver the key note address. There will be 200 delegates at the conference who gather each year from across the world to discuss the latest innovations in GIS and survey techniques.
Asia House – UK’s premiere business group will host the release of John Kayes latest pictorial book on The Great Arc.
iii. Films on Great Arc and Documentary festival
The film on the Great Arc will be screened at a Documentary festival, which will celebrate the spirit of man.
iv. The Great Arc Tourist Trail
Promotional films highlighting popular tourist trails, trekking routes and more will be used to create a special promotional package in association with the Ministry of Tourism and other State Governments.
v. Celebrity Dinners
A gala dinner at the exhibition veneus in London, Cambridge, Glasgow and Edinburgh will mark the inauguration of the festival.
